This workshop will be held together with the wonderful naturopath Naabi Methe from Common Garden Health who will share her insights into making natural products that truely nourish.

What happens in a Nourish Yourself: 90-minute Health Taster workshop?

The will run roughly like this: Kick off at 6.30pm when we explore a topical question for 10 minutes. Then Sally (or guest presenter) will share some of the latest understandings from nutritional sciences and Lifestyle Medicine and provide some key insights that you can use in life, for 15-20 minutes. Following this we get hands-on and into the experience at hand – prepping, tasting, making etc. Then we reflect, discuss and generate some of the key ways we can implement the health hacks at home. Ask, answer and explore questions. You leave with many things of great value – know how that will benefit you and your family for ever – and out the door by 8.01pm.

Learn about the hidden toxins in your bathroom, and how to replace them by making your own toothpaste and deodorant.

Reduce the personal toxin exposures your ‘normal’ bathroom regime imparts, by identifying toxicants and knowing about the health giving, effective alternatives. Plus, reduce plastic waste while you’re at it!

The number of synthetic chemicals used each day in the average bathroom is boggling. Many go down the sink and into the waterways, PLUS most are packaged in plastic which burdens our ecosystem further. We can do this differently.

You will make your own effective toothpaste and deodorant using non-toxic materials to take home with you. These are awesome recipes have been developed by Naturopath Naabi Methe from Common Garden Health . Detox expert Sally Mathrick will support your learning about detoxing your personal care protcotol and practicing truly personal care.

This workshop will explore what we can change to make our bathroom rituals healthier for us and the planet, are fun to make plus effective and smell delicious.
