Fermenting Food & Gut Health
Fermented foods for digestive health and well-being.
Improve your whole health by nurturing your gut microbiota with good food – and fermented foods!
We’re only starting to understand just how much our gut – and in particular the bacteria that live there – radically impact our health. Not only digestive health, but immune and mental health too.
Processed ‘food-like-products’ are often devoid of vital energy and low in the nutrients we need for wellbeing. In addition, many deliver pesticides, preservatives and other added synthetic chemicals involved in the food’s processing. How these compounds affect our gut linings and microbiota populations (the pools of our bacterial buddies) is widely unknown and certainly not widely discussed if you consider how widespread the problem is.
While we are figuring out the answers, science is revealing some intricacies of just how important our gut bacteria are to overall health.
